Payment & Pricing: Unless clearly stated, all accommodation is booked on a room-only basis. All extras such as breakast, drinks, and meals in our restaurants will incur additional charges. Payment for your room will be taken by credit or debit card upon your arrival. Please note that we do not accept cash.
Deposits: We will not charge you in advance of your stay, however we may take card details as part of the booking process. You card will not be charged as part of the booking process. Payment will only be taken from you upon arrival at the property, where you will need to present your credit or debit card. The card details supplied during booking will only be used in the event of a no-show, or cancellation outside of the free cancellation period, in which case we reserve the right to charge you the total amount for your booking.
Cancellation: If you need to cancel, please contact us immediately. You may cancel free of charge until 9am on the day prior to your planned arrival. Cancellations made after this time will be liable for the whole balance of the stay. We advise you to take out cancellation insurance, so that you are protected in the event of any unexpected circumstances.
Non-availability: If we need to cancel your booking, we will attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. This would only happen in exceptional circumstances for reasons beyond our control. Should no alternative accommodation be available, or should the option offered be unacceptable to you, we will refund all monies paid by you for your accommodation. Should such an event occur midway through your booking, any refund would be for the remainder of the stay only, less the nights already spent in our accommodation.
Arrival: All rooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Reception is open from 11am - 10pm daily, excluding Sundays and bank holidays. For arrival outside of the reception opening hours,on a Sunday or bank holiday, or before 2pm, please contact us to arrange this in advance. This will only be confirmed once you have received a confirmation email from us agreeing to your request.
Departure: Check-out time is 11am. Please ensure that you have left your room before this time, and returned your key to reception or to the drop-off box at the basement exit.
Damage & breakages: We ask that guests take care in our accommodation, and report any breakages or damages as soon as they occur. Guests are liable for any breakages or damages caused to the accommodation or its contents, however we do not normally charge for any minor breakages or wear and tear. For significant damage, such as broken furniture, stained carpets, or damaged electrical items, we reserve the right to charge or send an invoice for any repairs. We may add an additional charge of £50 if the damage or breakage was not reported.
Smoking: Smoking, or the use of vapes or e-cigarettes, is not permitted in your room, inside the building, or on the front entrance steps. Guests wishing to smoke may do so on the cigar terrace, accessed from the first floor. Should you smoke inside the building, you will be charged £150 towards to cost of cleaning.
Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Data protection: Any data gathered during the booking and stay process will be held on computrer, and used for purposes relating to processing and confirming your booking. Card details may be gathered and held securely to confirm your booking.
